Standard Insulated Heating Tapes are constructed of multi-strand, high temperature resistance wire, which has been over braided with two layers of Amox yarn then knitted into the serpentine shape shown. Use on non-conductive surfaces such as glass or ceramic. They are often used as components in OEM assemblies or embedded in resin. |
Heavy Insulated Heating Tapes have an additional over braid of Amox (1400 Deg. F.) or Fiberglass (900 Deg F.) fabric to allow use on conductive surfaces such as steel, stainless, aluminum, copper etc. They are available in Duo-Tape or MonoTape designs. |
Silicone Rubber Extruded Heating Tapes are encapsulated in flexible (400 Deg. F.) silicone rubber. For use to use on conductive surfaces such as steel, stainless, aluminum, copper etc. especially where moisture is a problem. They are available in Duo-Tape or MonoTape designs. |

Wide-Heavy Insulated Heating Tapes are wider tapes that have an additional over braid of Amox (1400 Deg. F.) or Fiberglass (900 Deg F.) fabric to allow use on conductive surfaces such as steel, stainless, aluminum, copper etc. |
Duo-Tape...
With lead wires one one end... ...Duo-Tape, Heavy Insulated and Duo-Tape, Silicone Rubber Heating Tapes are our most popular designs.
