A radiant panel array with six zones was designed and built for the manufacturing of filter media. Three sets of heater panel are positioned vertically facing each other. A conveyor transports a continuous filter media between the arrays. IR sensors detect the temperature of the media and temperature controls cause the heater panels to drive moisture from the product. The heater array stands over 20 feet high and four feet wide. By selecting the appropriate push button, the panel will accommodate 18", 24" and 36" wide product.

A full data acquisition system from Diana Chart monitors temperature across the product and displaying computerized graphics for displaying trends. Manufacturing parameters are recorded on floppy disks for Electronic manufacturers appreciate the flexibility of portable control panels that can be moved to different stations. Plug in heaters and thermocouples allow any station to operate with the assurance that all replacements will be identical to all other units. The unit is a programmable controller having 3 files, each with 8 steps of ramp and soak.

ASA is a UL 501 Panel shop and can certify panels we manufacture with the UL label. There are customers that find city inspectors to quickly accept this certification an approve installation.
